MAPLEWOOD RECORD FAIR THIS SUNDAY (5/21)
For those on the east coast of America, I will be selling records and books this Sunday, May 21st at the Maplewood Record Fair in Maplewood, New Jersey. All the pertinent info for the event is in the flyer above.
The majority of what I’ll be selling is of the Hardcore/Punk ilk with smatterings of Post-Punk, Noise, Psych, Prog, Avant-Garde, Free Jazz, and Off-kilter 70’s rock.
Also, I will be selling the new edition of my first book, Why Be Something That You’re Not - Detroit Hardcore 1979 - 85. There are only 100 copies of the green cover version I will be selling and they will come signed along with a Detroit Hardcore Flyers bookmark. If you didn’t get a copy the first time around, here it is for the taking. Well, you can’t really ‘take it’. It’ll cost ya $20.
I hope to see some friendly faces on Sunday, so come by the table with a smile…and a hefty wallet.
NOTE: All of these items are available at the record fair ONLY. Please don’t send a message asking if I will sell them to you prior to the convention. It’s annoying and you come off like a jerk. (Someone had to say it…)
