Check out the new issue of The Wire containing an article I wrote about the San Diego punk scene of the 1990’s that revolved around bands like Heroin, Antioch Arrow and others on the Gravity label. In the words of Troy McClure, “It’s the part I was born to play, baby!” The bands that came from this scene played a very vital role in my musical evolution, so it was a lot of fun to write it, but also a lot of pressure to get it right. Hopefully I did. Thanks to everyone who was interviewed or contributed photos or helped with fact checks like Cory Linstrum and Britt Neubacher.
