Below is an interview I conducted with Matt Anderson of the band Heroin and the proprietor of Gravity Records. The interview went up today on the Creem magazine website where a paid subscription is required to read it. Seeing that the Creem staff are wild rock ‘n’ roller types with no penchant for rules, I’m sure they won’t mind if the article is shared here on my Substack for those who cannot afford to read it. I mean, Rock ‘N’ Roll is the music of the people, right?
thanks for this interview! realizing i don't think i've ever read an interview with Matt. what an absolute influence on the hc/punk underground from the 90s until now...it is bizarre how little gravity is talked about....these bands still sound like no one but themselves...also had no idea about the end of the line reissue...gotta check out that remaster....always loved that 12"
